Pet care experience
I've been the caretaker of various dog breeds for decades, both as the owner of our own late vizsla, who lived to nearly 18 years (lots of experience with senior dog care!), as well as for numerous friends and a dog rescue. My wife and I especially enjoy taking care of dogs that love the outdoors and hiking. Note: Near-term requests (next day, week, or month) are the easiest for us to accept! Beyond that, our schedule takes a bit more planning. If my calendar appears unavailable a couple months from now, please check back as time gets closer.

Adam was great! Mystery really enjoyed his weekend away and they were incredibly accommodating! Mystery is a tripod and we always worry a little extra about him but he was more than willing to show us the lay of the land ahead of time and ensure everything was accessible!
This was a great experience for us and our Huck. Huck was well cared for and looked very much at home in the pictures we received. We would absolutely board with Adam again!
Highly recommend. Our dog had an absolutely wonderful stay and I felt confident she was being well cared for. I will definitely book with Adam again and have already recommended him to friends and neighbors. I also appreciated the great communication and the photos of our dog having fun every day.

We have a fenced yard and multiple dog beds to keep your dog comfortable. My office is only a short hallway away from the backyard. A crate for up to a medium-sized dog is available if needed. Our home is large with plenty of room to play. At the moment, there would be no other pets in our house--just yours.

A typical day
I love to go for daily walks (weather permitting), and there is plenty of room and time for indoor play during a typical day. If your dog is a senior and/or likes to rest a lot, that's great, too.

My wife and I both work from home 100% of the time. Playtime is a great way to take a break, and we love the nearby parks for daily walks, especially with a dog to accompany us.
