Loving, fun & experienced pet owner

Pet care experience

*** Please note *** My house in Rancho Penasquitos is being remodeled, so I have temporarily moved to Bonita. I can still pick up and drop off dogs at my house in Penasquitos and board them with me and my family in Bonita. I have had pets my whole live. I grew up taking care of dogs, birds, chickens, rabbits, a lizard (my mom didn’t like many of them), turtles and injured squirrels. I love all kinds of animals, but I’m allergic to cats :(. My husband and I rescued two dogs 13 years ago. We were a military family, so we moved around a lot. Our dogs always made our moves easier on our children. As long as our dogs were there, then everything was all right. Our dogs passed away in 2020 and early 2022 after having long and happy lives. We are not ready to adopt a new pet of our own right now. But we are ready to take care and play with your best friend(s).

Can't recommend ada enough. She watched my nala for a week straight while I was in Colorado and not one time did I ever feel like I had to worry about her. She goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy! She sends lots of update pictures and is just overall an amazing sitter!

Ada was terrific! She is great with communication and updated us daily with pictures of our dog Loki. This was our first time leaving Loki with a sitter. He came home happy, stress free and went right back into his normal routine.

Ada was great! She sent photos and videos everyday with notes on how my pup was doing. I could tell that she and her family really enjoyed sitting for Lola and Lola got lots of attention. Thank you so much Ada and family for taking such good care of our Lola!

Not sure how to put into words how perfect this entire process was. From the very first meet and greet, we knew Ada would be the bestest person to take care of our Cooper! The pictures she would send us all the time made it clear that Ada and her entire family made Cooper part of their family! Sooo happy with the care and love they gave to Cooper when we were away. The only negative thing from the whole experience is that I think Cooper misses Ada and her family! Lol. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Guaranteed the best doggy sitter in this entire network. Signed the Hess family.

I provide a clean house and backyard that is fenced. I also have a large covered patio where doggies like to lay and relax. We leave our french doors open a lot when it's warm, so dogs can come in and out of the house, but since my desk is next to the door, I keep an eye on them.

Information Ada M. would like to know about your pet

I do meet and greets before booking boarding or day care with all new dogs. I also like to know your dogs breed, age, size/weight, and demeanor in general and when meeting new dogs, people and kids. If your dog has any special needs, dietary and or behavioral that I’ll need to pay attention to. What your dog likes, special toy or treat. Where and on what does your dog sleeps. Please do let me know if your dog sleeps in your bed, his/her own bed, or crate. I also need to know if your dog has general anxiety and / or separation anxiety.

A typical day

I and my family love dogs and all animals. I love to play games, play fetch, play in the backyard and go for walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning for a quick walk, then again after 9 am, in the afternoon around 2 pm, in the evening at around 6 pm, and again a quick walk around 10 pm. 2 or 3 of those walks are 20 to 25 minutes long. Also, 2 or 3 times per week I take dogs to the dog park that is near my house.
