Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since the age of 5 and am dog mom to an amazing 5 year old husky as well as godmother (legally, for real) to my best friend’s 2 Boston terriers. My dog gets daily walks and I’d love to bring yours along or come check on them as needed. As a work from home parent, I’m available to have your little one over for play dates with my super friendly spayed and playful girl. With a .5 acre fully fenced yard (that not even a husky can escape 😆), they’ll have a blast and while also getting some exercise in. The dogs love watching the squirrels, birds and wildlife only 10 minutes away from downtown Austin.

Totally recommend AC! She sends pictures and the map of her walks and she is a great communicator - which is important to me when I’m gone. I loved the fact that she has a husky, and knows how to work with this breed. Even better that my kids and hers get along so I know they have friend time too. Overall my heart is so warmed with her services and will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you AC!!!

Charlie had the best day! AC was patient, kind and attentive to all Charlie’s needs. Her space is perfect and KK (her husky) is an absolute sweetheart. Charlie is all tuckered out but will definitely be returning soon!
Fantastic dog care! I hired Amanda to watch my dog, Ms. Peabody over the weekend when my parents were staying in town and they don't much care for pets around the house. Amanda was made it super easy for me and had very flexible hours that made drop off before work even more convenient than I expected. She has her own dog who I met during drop off and she is super chill and laid back. Ms. Peabody is a little high strung, but she immediately felt comfortable at Amanda's and I'm told was on her best behavior. I plan on using Amanda's services next weekend during labor day when I'm not going to have time to go back to walk Ms. Peabody

Playcare: I have a fully fenced large yard and one very playful and friendly 5 year old husky that loves to make new friends. The pups generally let me know through a large glass patio door when they are ready to come in for some AC, but also have outside access to 2 covered Patios and water. I do not currently kennel or own a kennel, but accept house trained dogs and can set up your portable kennel if needed. Walking: We can walk as far as the doggos want, my husky and I love to walk! We can also go to dog parks if your dog is trained for and comfortable with that. Drop-Ins: I have a sitter for this myself and have installed a keypad with her personal code for ease of access, as well as video doorbell. Knowing you need to trust anyone accessing your house and pup, I am available for meet and greets and a continued relationship prior to entering the home. I'm great at following directions so that's all I'll need!

Due to a recent house remodel, I am only currently accepting house trained pups and preferably (dare I say)...couch trained- unless you are requesting a backyard visit only. Your pup must also be very dog friendly to avoid any problems with my 49lb husky. Unfortunately, I am not trained to care for special needs pups. While not required, familiarity with cats is helpful as there are several neighborhood cats that like to visit my dog over the fence :)
A typical day
We typically start the day with (water!) and a walk to the neighborhood park, where there are generally a few leashed pups to interact with and smells to explore. Throughout the day, the dogs love to play in the yard, get in zoomies, dip their feet in the kiddie pool or just lounge on the 2 covered decks (one with a ceiling fan!) We also have a plethora of stuffies and chew toys and afternoon walks. If and when the pups get tired, house trained pups are free to lounge inside on a couple of dog beds or just snooze on the cool floors, or snack! Car trained pups have an additional opportunity for starbucks or DQ pup cups!

I’m currently working from home with very flexible hours, plenty of time to play with, feed and water the pups and walk to the park around the block. I am only typically available for Sat/Sun play care on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month.
