Pet care experience
I worked at Petco from 2018-2021, some of my skills and knowledge comes from first-hand experience from working there. I worked with animals such as chameleons, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. Cleaning out their enclosures and feeding them. I also worked with the foster cats in our adoption center. My entire childhood into adulthood I have been surrounded by a wide variety of different animals such as dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, ducks, snakes, leopard geckos, etc. You name it! I’ve had them all and I am very grateful to come from a family whose love for animals is as big as mine. My dream job when I was little was to become a veterinarian. All my life I knew I wanted to work with animals in any way that I could. Animals are a huge part of my life and always have been. They are my comfort and therapy ❤️ I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, dogs with behavioral issues, etc. I’ve delivered many litters of cats/puppies in my lifetime and know how to nurse and administer replacement milk if needed. I know how to administer pills/medications for elderly animals and animals with special needs and health issues. I love being outside and in nature and love having a canine companion to accompany me on walks! I’m very communicative and will always try my absolute best to accommodate any needs you and your animal companion may have ❤️

Abreena was very accommodating to my dogs needs as she is on meds and requires extra care. She is communicative and texts me with pictures and updates with my dog when I'm away, I get so happy to see how much my dog has warmed up to her and loves to play with her, even trusting her to put on her harness which can be difficult. She also has gone out of her way to make sure my house is clean and tidy before I get home, I appreciate her making my dog feel safe with her aswell with my home. She's trustworthy, communicative ensuring that you feel at ease when you're away, and she genuinely enjoys my dogs company and so does she.
Abreena absolutely is a true animal lover!! Very compassionate, sweet soul who has rescued various animals. Her most favorite times seem to be taking care of and hanging out with animals. I can honestly see her owning or running a "sanctuary" for all the furry friends/pets! The animals are in "good hands" with her and her love for them!!🐾🐾☺️☺️🙏🙏

In the home of any client I will always make my introduction as pleasant and calm as possible, making sure your cat/dog has time to warm up to me and let me gain their trust. Safety is super important to me and I am very hyper-vigilant to make sure all doors are closed and that there isn’t anything on the floor that could potentially be a choking hazard, etc. If your pet is crate trained just let me know! I’m good at following rules and routines so just communicate what you need and I will always accommodate to the best of my ability.

I enjoy any and all types of activities. Playing with toys and giving them treats, taking them for walks to get their energy out, giving baths, any kind of mental/physical stimulation they prefer, or just be cuddled up on the couch! ❤️
