I have been living with dogs my entire life and currently have 2 of my own. I work at a veterinary office as a veterinary assistant, so I am more than comfortable with any size and shape of pet. I am knowledgeable in Fear Free handling and will ensure that your pet is as comfortable as my own. I am trained in administering medications and taking care of patients. I also know not only are the pups and cats important, but so are the pet parents. I am very communicative and will let you know if I see anything out of the ordinary. I will also send a lot of pictures of your pets, so you know they are happy, even while you are away.

Both of my cats said Abigail was amazing. They liked how attentive she was to them. I really enjoyed her visit updates, I knew my fur babies were being well cared for. I would definitely hire Abigayle to care for my cats again.
Abby has pet sat for me for the past 5 years now, and I have to say I’ve never felt more secure with how my dog is doing than when she is watching her. She does so well with my high energy Belgian Shepherd. and I never have to worry about whether my dogs doing well or not, because every time I pick her up she’s happier then when I left her!

I have worked in a variety of animal fields and have learned the skills necessary to create a safe and comfortable environment. I strive to treat all pets as if they were my own babies. I make all effort to make your babies feel like no time has past since they last saw me. I try to make them feel as comfortable as possible and don't push myself on them. I follow all owner instructions and use their own tips and tricks to make them feel like nothing has changed. With my background safety is my number one priority. At my hospital I really do treat every pet like my own and demand only the best. I always have an eye for your fur baby and will let you know if anything out of the ordinary catches my attention. I am also great to have around in case of emergency as I have been RECOVER trained in animal CPR and know by heart locations and numbers for all emergency veterinarians in the area.

Before I take care of your animal I would like to know a few things about them such as: How is their temperament? What is their personality like? Do they have any medications? What is the best way to get them to warm up to me? What is their favorite activity? I will take pups and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes.
A typical day
At my house we are all about having fun and taking care of our pets. We want them to be happy healthy and stimulated at all times. We provide a lot of stimulating treats, toys, and experiences such as hiking and 'sniff walks' around the neighborhood. This extends to every pet under my care. After spending some time with your pet I figure out their favorite thing to do and put that to use! Whether that be cuddles and pets, scratches, looking out the window, or playing, I will make sure your pet is happy and satisfied before I leave.

Availability
I am currently working full time but am able to provide services in the morning afternoon and evening. On weekends I can make myself completely available for your furbaby and make them my priority. I will be completely honest with my time, so you always know what it going on with them, and that I will be there for the full time I am supposed to be.
