I own two cats of my own, one who has been with me since I was thirteen! I have grown up with dogs as well as gained experience and knowledge through working at a daycare and boarding facility. Every pet I’ve met I have absolutely adored! I also have experience administering medications!

Abby is great with my pets! My senior dog, Diesel, has a tendency to cry and howl while I'm gone, but she treats it as if it's music to her ears. My cat Frankie can be a little menace sometimes trying to open cupboards, etc. However, Abby finds this as a great time to play with him.

Cleanliness and comfort are extremely important when it comes to taking care of my fur babies as well as others! Pets are usually messy so for me it is important to stay on top of cleaning before any tasks get out of hand. My cats spend most of their day home without me so I always make sure that their favorite toys are out as well as leaving a sweatshirt that smells like me for my senior kitty. I will be taking care of your pets while you’re gone so I will be doing my best to ensure they are comfortable with me as well as your home while you’re gone!

A typical day
I love to figure out a pets favorite toy! Overall getting to know animals and their amazing personalities is such a rewarding part of animal care. I love to walk along trails.

I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa and have a part-time job. Due to both of my schedules I have a couple longer breaks throughout my day that allow me to have time to check on you pets! :)
