Hi! My name is Abigail and i have been petsitting for roughly seven years now. I am a full time Veterinary Assistant that's knowledgeable in animal behaviour and with my medical background it helps me assess your pets while you're away and allows me to provide the proper care they may need! I am skilled in administering oral and injectable medications xand have a soft place in my heart for seniors pets that need a little extra TLC!

I do have other animals in my home, (2 dogs) and they are all crate trained. If in the event I find that your pet is uncomfortable with my pets, I will do my best to ensure the safety of your animal as well as my own. I can easily keep my pets in a separate room while yours roams!

It’d be best if your pet is up to date on shots, and if you can provide the records that’d be wonderful! Please send them with their rabies tag as well so we can explore worry free! Does your pet have any allergies? History of seizures or medicine reaction? Is your pet deaf or blind? Are you aware if they have a heart murmur? All of this information would be crucial knowledge for me to have so I can provide the best care for your fur family while they’re away!
A typical day
I’m an avid hiker and have found some pretty cute and not too strenuous hikes to go on that I like to take my pooches to. If you’re okay with that, then I’d love to take yours too! I also have a family farm I like to hike that doesn’t really encounter too many people if you’d feel more comfortable that way and it also has a creek running through it if your pup likes water!

Availability
I work part time at the vet clinic- Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as a weekend rotation shift. During my days off I can spend as much time you want with your pet and during my work days I can check on them prior to my shift and after!
