Fun, professional, dog loving gal!

Pet care experience

Growing up with parents in the animal protection field, I grew up with many many dogs, sometimes 6 or 7 at a time, as well as cats, horses, birds and rodents. I’m experienced in caring for puppies and senior dogs, and can give oral and injectable medications if needed. I’ve taken many obedience classes over the years with my own dogs so I’m also able to provide light training during visits if you’d like! Aside from my personal experience caring for animals, I also housesat for neighbors and family friends during my high school and college years.

Abigail has taken care of our pets many times over the years, including administering insulin shots to our diabetic cat and other medications to our many dogs. She has experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rats, and other small pets. She is knowledgeable and understands animal behavior to a much higher level than an average person. She is consistent, capable, loving and very dependable. I would highly recommend her to work with any animal that needs attention and care. You will not regret it.

Injected medication administration
Senior dog experience
Special needs dog experience

Safety, trust & environment

I am very careful about leashing dogs correctly before going outside for walks. If you have a fenced yard, I will always watch them while outside and am comfortable crating your fur baby too if needed!

Information Abigail T. would like to know about your pet

Before I care for your dog, it’s important for me to know about all needs. Do they need medication? Can they only walk for 1 mile before tiring? Can they have unlimited treats, or are they on a diet? What are their favorite activities? How are they on a leash, are they reactive to other dogs?

A typical day

Caring for dogs is fun and can be eventful with a long walk, or if your dog is not the most physical of types, a good belly rub and treat!
