Hi, I’m Abigail — a lifelong animal lover with a passion for all things furry, feathery, and scaly! I used to work at the Medicine Park Aquarium, caring for everything from otters, skunks and parrots to opossums, turtles and raccoons 🦝Now, I’m raising money through Rover to move out of state in August to chase my dream of studying Conservation Biology in Vermont 🫎🌲🌿 At home, I have my own bestfriend, Blue, a bubbly cocker spaniel who goes everywhere with me. I’ve gone through formal training classes, have experience giving meds (if you think your dog gives you a hard time, imagine a raccoon!), and know how to care for both rowdy puppies and wise old seniors 🐶 I am a disabled veteran, so I am home most days unless I have an appointment or am out on the trails with Blue. If your dog can walk on a leash, we would love to let them join us! 🥾 ⛰️ 🌄 My cozy little house has a fenced backyard that's ready for tail wags, zoomies, and plenty of belly rubs. We also live a short ride to the dog park on Lee, where if you'd like, we can take your friend for socialization. Whether your pup needs a playmate, a hiking partner, a cuddle buddy, or just a comfy place to crash, I’m here to treat them like family 🩷 I also love photography 📷 and will take amazing photos of pup! Abigail was so kind with my babies, they absolutely loved her! There was a lot of play with my girls, she sent a lot of photos where you can tell they were having fun. When we went to pick them up, they didn't want to leave! That tells you they were having a great time with Abigail and her family. For sure I would love to rebook when I need it.
Such a wonderful pet sitter! So happy we found Abigail. She kept us updated and sent the sweetest pictures. I am so grateful that Abigail was available and was able to deal with last minute changes. She did shots for my diabetic dog and was very attentive to his diet and she dealt with my chihuahua. Thanks Abigail!
I had Abigail take care of my Shiba Inu, Killua, for a week while I went on a trip back home. Not only did she take him to the park and beach but she took amazing pictures of him that I will cherish forever. She was so good with him he barely wanted to come back home with me. 10/10, I would recommend Abigail to any of my friends with dogs.

I own a small sized crate at home and a puppy pen if your fur ball needs. Blue and I love walks and playing in our backyard. We utilized Rover when Blue was a baby with medical issues (prior to us finding out he was allergic to chicken), so we know the importance of communicating with owners and ensuring a safe environment.

Sleeping / Separation Arrangements: Can your dog be left alone for short amounts of time? Do they sleep with you or in a crate / pen? I have a small crate and play pen at home. If you need a larger one, will you be bringing it? Behavior: Does your dog get along with other dogs? Is there anything I should know about regarding behavior (i.e, food / toy aggression, anxiety behaviors like chewing, etc)? Activities: Can the dog be walked on a leash? Can they ride in a car? Feeding: Is there any specific diet you pet needs and if so, what is their feeding schedule look like?
A typical day
I would love to take your pup on walks or hikes at the refuge! My own pup Blue loves car rides so much, we have a seat belt in our car for him. We love driving to the dog park and then sonic for a pup cup, but we also love a cozy day at home and a walk around the block. Blue is a skilled soccer player, and would love to test his skills on a four legged friend whose way faster than me!
