I’ve had dogs since I was young, and friends and neighbours have relied on me to walk their dogs, of all sizes, in times of need. I now own a dachshund so know the extra care with handling and attention they need.

Abigail has been great with our 6 month old collie. She needs lots of exercise and can be anxious around strangers. Abigail has been very patient and Maia absolutely loves their walks. She always comes back happily tired out.
Abigail has cared for my Labrador and our family braccos on multiple occasions. She’s done both walks from the house and private field hire trips for us. She’s very easy to get in touch with, is reliable and timely. The dogs absolutely adore her, a sure testament to how brilliant she is. She keeps in regular touch while she has them and often sends photo updates during or after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abigail to other pet owners.

I am very considerate when being in your home, shoes off before coming in to collect your dog, and putting leads, collars, harnesses back. If it’s muddy outside, your dog will be towel dried before coming home. For drop in visits I leave my shoes at the door, tidy up after myself and leave your home how I would expect someone to leave mine.

Let me know if there are any triggers for your dogs that I would need to take extra care around on walks. Every dog deserves to have nice relaxed walks. Also let me know any limitations your dog might have: distance, steps, etc. There is no such thing as too much information, I’d rather you know you’ve told me everything g you’d like to be done regarding your pets, than you assuming I know. It makes me feel better knowing all the information, even if it seems like the most basic bit of care, you’ll feel better knowing you’ve told me
A typical day
Cats: get lots of cuddles and head scratches, if they want them, food and water refresh and empty the litter trays Dogs: I look for walks around your home in addition to any routes your dogs love where we can play sniffy games and have a good play.

I work 3pm to 11pm so I have plenty time in my day to drop in and see to/play with your pets and I love taking your furbabies out on adventures.
