I’m creative in my care approach.
Pet care experience
I grew up with a large yellow label who I would consistently care for. We had about five cats growing up as well, I had befriended one of them and took care of her, she was a grey cat named Mia. I have three cats, two rabbits and have house/ dog sat many times. My mother calls me the animal whisperer. I think that accurately describes my relationship with animals.
Reviews
Abigail did a great job. She took Rio, my border collie, for a good 30 minute walk/jog each day. She communicated as needed and left the house in great condition.
Amazing! We were nervous about having anyone stay in our house, but Abigail was completely respectful, clean, and the house looked great. For the dogs, they were so happy! Without enough attention the dogs can leave the house quite a mess but Abigail was great at keeping up with them! They had great exercise and looked great.
Reliable and so good with our goofy/ high energy pups!
Our pets Typhoon (cat) and Zena (dog) adore Abby. My husband and I were gone for a week this summer. I trusted Abby completely to care for them. She kept me updated while we were gone and left notes for us to read when we got home.. Abby's attentive to our critter's moods when we are gone and plays with them too. She's not just filling their bowls with food and water but provides snuggles and lots of love. I would highly recommend Abby for someone seeking exceptional Critter Care....and besides that she's a delightful person :)

I am very vigilant to keep clients information and house codes or addresses to myself. I have much discretion. I’m used to working in home with clients and have dog sat and cat sat. I am very familiar with cat behavior and I have been around dogs my whole life. Cats work well with positive reinforcement like treats, toys, words of praise. Dogs are den animals and can sometimes be territorial, it’s best to approach a new dog carefully. Positive reinforcement at first and stern commands if positive reinforcement doesn’t work. Dogs need to be out at least every four hours and indoor cats need at least 30 minutes of playtime for stimulation. I also offer plant care. I have a bit of a green thumb.

Information Abigail S. would like to know about your pet
I have taken care of elderly dogs as well. Let me know if your dog needs any special care like medication application, diaper changes, or alternative exercise routines. I can bathe your animal as long as I know ahead of time.
A typical day
I enjoy positive activities and I love to go for walks and play with dogs. I am a patient walker, I don’t mind taking a different route due to cars or other dogs/ children. I like to let the dog sniff around the neighborhood. I like to bring treats with me in case a distraction is needed. There are several dog parks that I love and I really enjoy walking dogs to a place where I can let them roam free in a fenced area to play.
