I'm a dog bather, owner, and lover!
Pet care experience
I joined Rover because I love spending time with dogs and helping out fellow dog owners. My experience with dogs is accredited to being a bather at a dog grooming shop. I know every dog is special and loved by their owner, so they are each treated specially and lovingly when they are in my care. I have cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I enjoy them all. I have a dog of my own; a laid-back, sleepy basset hound named Flash. I bring Flash to work with me, so he has met dogs of ALL personalities. He's never met a dog that he didn't befriend, and I know he would love to welcome your dog into our home as long as he/she is friendly in return. My job is only five minutes away, so during the day I can easily make a quick trip to my house to give medicine or let your dog outside when needed. Whatever your dog's needs are, I value them and I strive to make your dog as safe, happy, and comfortable in my home as I can.

Abigail is an incredible caretaker. She makes her home your pets home and treats them as she would Flash. I will be using her again, and if you want the peace of mind knowing your doh is being cared for and loved, I'd recommend you use her too!
Abigail did an amazing job with my shin tzu Tucker. He seemed so happy and relaxed when I picked him up.
Abigail was great throughout the entire process, from the meet and greet through the stay. She also answered all communications in a timely manner, and sent us pictures while we were gone. Abigail lives in a large home with a huge yard for the dogs to play, with a very long lead so that there aren't any escapes. The home has a dog, which I wasn't sure how our dog would get along with, but to my surprise Flash is so laid back and easy going that our dog got along with him great. I'm extremely thankful I found Abigail to keep our Sadie while we were out of town! Their home is a bit of a drive but well worth it!!
Abigail took great care of my dog. She sent me lots of pictures and sent him home nice and clean!

A typical day
My yard is very large and perfect for playing fetch. It is not fenced in, so when your dog needs to potty I will walk him/her on a leash. If your dog needs to run around and release some energy, I will attach him/her to a long chain (while watching them, of course!) that gives them access to half of my back yard. Or, there's always the option of going on a walk at the park down the road - which is Flash's favorite thing to do when I get home from work.
