***AVAILABLE TO HOUSE SIT THE WEEKEND OF THANKSGIVING (WED-SUN)*** Large dogs have been our beloved family members my whole life, from loving labs and boxers to German Shepherds, but I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! Dogs are creatures of habit! I understand a dog’s routine can be very particular and important and I will adhere to your dog’s routine. I believe that sticking to the routine helps create a low stress environment while you are away, in addition to providing exercise and giving them lots of love. I have never met a dog that I did not like or was afraid of. I grew up in a home where many of our rescued or fostered dogs had personality quirks or behavioral problems. Each dog has their own personality which should be respected and adapted to. I am familiar with positive reinforcement as a training concept. Currently, I have a sweet 13 year old cat I adopted from the SPCA two years ago. I LOVE cats too and am happy to cat sit as well. When I house sit for you, it's as if nobody was ever there! I am considerate and clean, and will never do anything you are not comfortable with. I'm an experienced horticulturist and am capable of taking care of houseplants if need be. I work as a professional gardener full-time, Monday-Friday, and am interested mainly in weekends. However, as I work outdoors, my work becomes much lighter in the winter. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any last minute bookings, as I can also be available on short notice.

Abbie was fantabulous! Zane loved her. Abbie cares for him just like his Mommy does. Within five minutes of meeting her we knew she was the one we’d be comfortable leaving Zane with. Apparently Zane did as well because he followed her around. Abbie sent us pictures and was very accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend Abbie!
You can trust Abigail with your pets! She lovingly took care of my dog when she was sick with gasterenteritis when I had to work. I felt very comfortable leaving my girl with her...she was there to comfort her, take her on bathroom breaks and followed dietary and medical protocol. I highly recommend Abigail!

I’m interested to know how the dog does with strangers, other dogs, and kids. How does the dog walk on a leash? Do they have any weird quirks? I like dogs of all breeds.
A typical day
I often walk my dog on the Trolley bed in Egypt Park or at Indian Hill. If you live on a quiet, unfrequented street, I will walk dogs there as well. My dog and I always enjoy a good ol game of fetch in the backyard. If the weather is bad, I like to challenge my dog mentally by putting peanut butter in her toys.
