I grew up in a pet-loving household. Our cat, SweetiePie, was part of the family before I was born. Also, my parents are professional dog boarders so I have been exposed to furry paws, gentle licks and wagging tails on a daily basis throughout my life. I enjoy dogs and cats of all types and sizes. I am glad to care for a bird, gerbil, hamster, rat or mouse living in the same household as the cat and/or dog. I am a college student and work part time so I have plenty of time to devote to your furry buddy. I currently house-sit at the dog or cat's place of residence. Safety is a priority. I walk only in areas approved by the pets family or with which I am very familiar. I am particular about the type of leash I use and may choose to use a harness if walking a dog that tends to pull on the leash. Dogs and cats are always supervised when outdoors and I double-check gates and locks to ensure pets are secure and safe in their space.
