I will say our animals were well taken care of. It appears meds were given on time and the animals(cat/bulldog) were happy as can be when we returned home from being out of state for 5 days. The care of our animals was not any of the issue we had while Abigail house sat for us. The reason we will NOT be hiring Abigail again, is the inconsiderate nature of her stay in our home. We welcome our sitters to have a friend over to hang out while they house sit. This was suggested to and encouraged during our meet and greet. What we did not want was this friend staying at our house, with their cat (who was not approved ahead of time and we only knew this because we saw them enter on our Ring cam), while Abigail had left for the day. Concerned on how our dog would respond to a new cat in the house we reached out and were assured it would stay in a bathroom for the entirety of the stay. We ok'd it. The extra house guest ended up leaving the front door unlocked on several occasions, and we arrived home to find cat feces stuck to the floor of the bathroom that the cat had stayed in. Not the end of the world, but also not very welcoming. Overall we found the decision Abigail made to let her friend stay in our house alone to be in poor judgement and turned what would have been a 5 star review to a meager 3 stars.
