Pet care experience
I have loved caring for pets for as long as i can remember! I've grown up with dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and amphibians. Fun fact: one of my first pets was a newt! Even working at a summer camp for chronically ill kids, I walked and bathed the therapy dogs who would come to work at camp. I currently have a 2.5 year old golden retriever named Murphy. Murphy is great with all types of animals! He is gentle, curious, submissive, and enjoys a good wrestle match! Prior to Murphy, I had a golden retriever for 8 years before she sadly passed away. But I have grown up with all types of dogs from Beagles, Labs, Great Danes, Poodles, and all sorts of mixes!

Abigail walked Huey everyday while I was out of town. She was wonderful with him. He tends to pull while walking with new people but Huey was very responsive to her, she was great at communicating, highly responsive, and had a flexible schedule. She was able to wear out Huey (85lb labradoodle) first thing in the morning with ease. I am so happy to have found Abigail and highly recommend her!!!
This was my first time using Rover for our pups and Abigail was amazing! She was a great communicator and sent lots of pictures! Our apartment building layout is tricky to figure out but she made it seem like a breeze. I would definitely use Abigail’s services again in the future as I know our dogs were well taken care of!
Abigail helped with my Samoyed twins for a few days and she was excellent! Everyday I received photos of the walk, and she would at times write a small paragraph on how the pups enjoyed their exercise with her. Much appreciated! would certain book again in the future. -Jimmy
Abigail has been terrific with Penelope and has been communicative and easy to work with every time. I would absolutely recommend her!

I have multiple gates to place in front of my stair cases. I always allow pets on my furniture so we can have lots of snuggles in addition to having additional beds for them to rest on if they aren't allowed on furniture at home. I have a large deck where we can get fresh air if we aren't walking and enjoy the sunshine and open sky. I walk my pup, Murphy at least twice a day so walks are always available for your pup if needed.

A typical day
We will go on lots of walks and enjoy cuddling together on my couch- if your pet enjoys that! I have many toys and mental stimulation activities for dogs to ensure that they are stimulated if needed.

Availability
I have a very flexible work schedule! I currently work 3 days a week, typically starting at either noon or 2pm in Laurelhurst. I'm an early riser and love a morning and late afternoon walk with my dog, Murphy. I am happy to adjust or add walk times if that is best for your schedule! Murphy and I love to play hide and seek inside when we are not out at a dog park or hiking :)
