Pet care experience
I've owned dogs and cats my whole life. I've also dogsat for a multitude of breeds and sizes, each dog with different activity levels and temperments. I only pet set in the client's home. This is for the comfort of the pet, so they don't need to adjust to new environments.

Abby is one of the kindest people you will ever have the privilege to meet. She is hard working, dedicated to whatever task she is given, and is always on time. Abby has watched our dog and her brother numerous times, as well as other dogs for other family members. She celebrated their birthday and even put them in party hats and made them feel special. Abby has stayed with the dogs overnight, fed them, walked them, played with them, etc. We have recommended Abby to all of our family and friends, who have then recommended her to their family and friends. We would recommend Abby to anyone with a pet!

This also helps me and the pet's owners so that the pet can carry on largely as normal, there is less need to transport items, and we know that the pet will feel safe.

It's important to know their typical activities, diet, quirks or behaviors, if they are aggressive in anyway, if they get anxiety and what causes their anxiety. Things that would impact their quality of life if the information wasn't shared with me.
A typical day
I love to play with them, take them on walks, sometimes I teach them a trick or two. Things like that. The thing that is important to me is that their daily routine isn't messed up, so if your pet always goes on a mile walk every day, I'll do that so they stick to the routine they are used to.

Availability
With at least a two week notice I can most likely make anytime work. However, I do have a part time job-so pets must be able to be independent for minimum 6 hours out of the day.
