I spent my childhood growing up in Alaska. My neighbors were snowbirds and at times would leave their cocker spaniels in my care. I was around 11 when I would stay at their house for up to two weeks at a time caring for their babies. They even recommended me to their friends and I got to watch chihuahuas and kitties for weeks at a time in an out of town location. It was so much fun getting to know these pets and they quickly became like my little nieces and nephews.
