Pet care experience
I am extremely passionate about caring for dogs well. I think it’s very important to not only work out a dog’s body, but also their mind so they are relaxed and content by the time they see you again. I may often walk them longer than the payed amount until it’s clear they have had a good work out. I will go above and beyond to make sure your dog is treated with care, consistency, and respect. I am also passionate about seeing dogs learn new skills, so don’t be surprised if your bestie comes home to you having learned a new trick or two. I am comfortable walking dogs on and off the lead, and am happy to walk any breed of dog. I am fun loving, generous, and trustworthy.

I highly recommend Abigail!! My newly adopted rescue dog is extremely nervous, but Abigail was gentle and calm. She is very confident and reassuring. My dog seemed more at ease with Abi than I expected. Abi has worked with dogs, puppies, and rescues so she really knows how to individualize her care for each dog. ♡

If you would like your dog to be looked after at my home, they will have to past the test. If they get along with my extremely friendly Springer Spaniel x Lab, then they are welcome in our home. Some helpful things to know so I can know what to expect are: - does your dog have any bad habits? (like rolling in poo, stealing human food, posssessive of toys, excessive barking, separation anxiety, etc) - is your dog afraid of anything? (Loud noises, water, strangers, etc) - are there any health or dietary issues I should know about? - what best motivates your dog? (A tasty. Treat?. Or a fun toy?) - is your dog housebroken?
A typical day
My favourite stomping ground is Gladstone Park, however we will venture to Roundwood, and the Brent Resevoir as well. While we are there, in addition to exploring, we may play fetch together, frisbee, scent games, and tug games.
