Abigail is a fantastic person who loves animals unconditionally and has for as long as I've known her (I'm her older brother). Abbey's cats are amazing, well loved, and a joy to be around. She exudes the good kind of energy you need to connect with animals. She was a great owner of our dogs growing up and always treated them with love and kindness (despite some difficult circumstances). I have two dogs and one is reactive to new people and takes awhile to warm up. Abbey had her laying in her lap in 15 minutes and she adored her the whole visit. Abbey is very patient and thorough in her work and listened closely to my instructions on how to handle my dogs. She joined us for walks with one of our dogs and the dog loved being walked by her and showed complete confidence on the walk despite only just meeting Abbey. Abbey has studied wildlife rehabilitation and has a healthy understanding of and respect for wildlife. This will be important in her handling of pets because she understand more than the average person does about how to handle wildlife interactions. She has successfully fed for and cared for (vet) outdoor neighborhood cats for years, out of her own pocket. I know it may seem like I'm just talking her up because she is my sister, but know that I would ABSOLUTELY let her watch my dogs any time and for any length of time. She is dedicated to the welfare of all animals and understands the nuances of caring for multiple animal types. Her inborn love and patience with animals is something that can't be taught and is the main reason I think that she's a perfect candidate for Rover.com.

Abigail is one of the most caring and tender loving souls on this planet. I have trusted her with looking after my pets on numerous occasions. She always gives them the care and attention they need while I'm away.
