Pet care experience
We are two dog-smitten people who, after adopting our own dog Olive a few years ago, have continued fostering dogs and volunteering through local shelters and are now sitting for Rover. We love meeting new dogs and showering them with love and attention while they’re in our home. We have a soft spot for seniors and have experience working with shyer/anxious dogs.

Abigail, Chris, and their pup Olive are wonderful hosts, and my corgi Bert had a 5-star stay with when I went on vacation for 4 days. Bert played, splooted, went on walks, rolled in the grass, and had what looked like a wonderful ‘vacation’ too from the fun photos that Abigail and Chris sent. I also appreciated that they offered to do a meet and greet ahead of time.
Abigail & Chris were sooo lovely, flexible, accommodating & Olive is a pure sweetheart! They took amazing care of our very needy Gus and sent us daily pictures & updates. We’d definitely recommend & will be reaching out to them for all of Gus’s future staycations.
Abigail and Christopher were a delight. They were very communicative and they have been a great sitter for our dog Minnie.

We will update you with pics throughout your dog’s stay. Please bring whatever your dog needs to be comfortable—food, dog bed, special treats, sweaters or booties if cold weather, calming chews, etc. We take care that our dog and our guest get along well. Your dog will be the only guest in our home, alongside our resident dog. Our dog is mostly indifferent to other dogs but occasionally finds a playmate. We do feed dogs separately and place them in separate closed-door rooms when we leave. We’re happy to have the dogs meet for a short walk prior to booking, if you’d like.

A typical day
In addition to long walks in our nearby park, we’ve got plenty of toys and mentally stimulating treat puzzles at home. And we’re always ready for a cuddle break and snuggles on the couch. If you’re dog needs more activity, longer walks take us to an enclosed dog park.

Availability
I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule, so there will almost always be someone around with your dog. We live in a duplex apartment with a small backyard and one block from a large park, where we walk nearly every day.
