Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals my whole life. Chickens, dogs, cats, bees, you name it! I am responsible for feeding, grooming, training, and bathing our four large breed dogs at home. I currently volunteer and have volunteered on farms in my hometown taking care of animals and cleaning the barns. I am driven, responsible, and loving and would make a great fit for any home. I am attending college in CT as a commuter student. My schedule is pretty light, so I am able to work around your schedule. I have my license and very few priorities. I also am Covid-19 vaccinated. I would love to house sit for you when you are away on vacation. At home, I have fruit trees, vegetable gardens, a greenhouse, chickens, honey bees, and four large breed dogs. I am responsible, LOVE all animals, and I will ensure your house is clean and well kept at all times. When I arrive at your home, I will ensure your beloved pets are safe and have enough water, food, etc. I will also ensure I fulfill all the tasks you have left for me to do to make your pet the healthiest and happiest they can be.

We met Abigail a few weeks before our trip. She met our cats, Chloe and Louie, and we told her what we wanted her to do while we were gone. Abigail did a great job of taking care of our cats. She came around the same time every day and let me know that one day she would be late due to a previous engagement. Very conscientious and reliable. We were very happy with her and have already let her know that we will be requiring her help again.

Beforehand, I believe it is important to be made aware of any allergies, medical conditions, behavioral issues, bad habits, illnesses, infections, and any other health and or behavioral issues they have. It is also helpful to know if your dog is aggressive towards people, dogs, or other animals.
A typical day
I love to be outside and be active with my pets. I take my dogs to sleeping giant, the dog park, the Farmington canal, or just around the block. I also love to play frisbee or ball with my pets outside. I also love to go on runs with my dogs to help burn off some of their extra energy. I will definitely treat your beloved pets as if they are my own and treat them like family!

I am currently a commuter student in college. I am free most weekends, in the morning, at night, and in the afternoon. My schedule is pretty light, so I am usually able to help last minute!
