Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Abby. My fiancé Andy and I have one spoiled cat, Fela. We want to adopt a rescue when the time is right, but having no kids yet or dogs of our own leaves us with some down time, and a wedding to save for. We would love to spend that time cuddling with your sweet pups. I am resourceful and will use discretion when caring for your pets. Apart from having family dogs growing up, I have had house-sitting gigs caring for a variety of breeds, including huskys, a golden doodle, labradors, sibling Rottweilers (Bonnie and Clyde) and feline friends, among others. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for more information!
Reviews
Buddy was in great hands when he stayed with Abby and Andy. This was our first time with Rover and they were very helpful, answered all our questions and were easy to get a hold of. They kept us updated throughout the week, sending us pictures and videos. We were really happy with our experience and will definitely be using Abby and Andy again!
Thanks so much for taking care of Roo while we were away! I’m sure she loved the back yard and using up her energy. Felt good to know she was in great care when we were away!
Abi & Andy were the perfect alternative to high-stress kennel boarding for my senior dog. They are friendly, flexible, compassionate, responsive, and convenient (right in my neighborhood). They paid careful attention to my dog's needs and kept me updated throughout my trip.My dog was relaxed and happy when I picked him up!
Abigail and Andy were such great hosts and helped make our otherwise anxious pup, Ellie, feel comfortable and right at home during her stay! From long walks to cuddles, they warmly welcomed Ellie into their home and routine and shared lots of adorable pictures and updates with us, which was much appreciated. I would 100% recommend Abigail and Andy to other pet owners and will be contacting them again for any future boarding needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets are welcome to roam the house and the fenced-in back yard. Our cat is not trusting of dogs and we don’t trust him to be in the same space as a dog at this point. We’ve developed a system to separate them in the house without limiting their space or creating issues. We live on ground level, when considering older dogs. Pets are allowed on furniture but we can keep them off to maintain regular routine if needed. The front door has a separate entry way, so there is little chance of your pup sneaking out, if that’s their thing!

Information Abigail B. would like to know about your pet
Would like to know if owner would like us to allow the pet on our furniture, how frequently and loudly the dog barks (one upstairs neighbor), if there any specific things they’re training on at the time of booking, how they interact with cats if known, and any medications that need to be administered.
A typical day
We like to spend time at two nearby parks, Daffin and a smaller park, Hulls. They are both within walking distance from us. Daffin also has a dog-park that I’d be happy to utilize if safe and appropriate for specific dog. If not able to go for a walk at any point, our backyard is fenced in for some outdoor time.

Availability
My fiancé and I both work full-time, but generally work opposite schedules, so we aren’t both away at the same time longer than about 3 hours. We frequently go on walks as is, so we would look forward to having a canine walking companion.
