Pet care experience
I have been a professional dog handler for over a year now at a doggy daycare, but I have always been a dog lover. I have also been watching over dogs of all sizes and cats belonging to friends, family, and neighbor for over 10 years. I LOVE taking pictures of dogs! It is the best feeling when you can get fun, goofy pictures of a pooch! I am eager to send you pictures of your dogs. I am absolutely willing to work with reactive dogs! I have experience working with reactive dogs; My second dog was extraordinarily reactive, specifically to cars, but to people and dogs as well. I have a huge soft spot for reactive dogs because of him. They are seriously some of the sweetest dogs ever! I know I can handle a dog that is reacting to someone or something nearby, but I always try to prevent that situation. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Abby did a great job taking care of our American bulldog and poodle while we were away for the weekend. They can be challenging at times, but she had no problems redorecting them. We came home to safe and happy pups!

Abby did a fabulous job of looking over our furkids while we were out of town! We got regular updates and LOTS of awesome pictures to reassure us that our furcrew was doing very well while we were away. Abby was right on time, so attentive to every need of our furkids and very trustworthy. We came home to a tidy house and very happy furkids. I'd hire her back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Abby!
Abby is one of my closest friends and has taken care of my dog for me many times! Speaking as a fellow Rover sitter, I would trust her to provide wonderful care for any animal. I would like to know about reactivity so I can best prepare for a walk. I would also like to know about sensitivities to touch and how the dogs responds when touched there. (For example, your dog really doesn't like having his paws touched; how do they react? Will they snap at me? What is their immediate response?)
A typical day
I am currently offering walking and visits. Dogs have different play styles and energy levels. I would adjust my services to fit their needs. For high energy dogs, I love taking long walks and I am willing to adjust length and location (e.g. going to a park). Some dogs prefer playing with toys, fetch, snuggles, or even a short training session!
