I’ll keep up with your pup!
Pet care experience
Pet care should be stress-free with the guarantee that your furry family member is getting the attention and activity they need. For 15 years I have taken on pet care opportunities that centered around the schedule and needs of the pups. We have a dog with epilepsy, so we know the importance of having pet sitters you can trust. My experience can be used to help pet owners feel at ease when they are away from their pets with various medical or senior needs.
Reviews
Abi was super attentive and easy to work with!
Abi was the best! She is so caring and went above and beyond. When I asked her to check in with me a couple times while I was gone (8 days) she certainly did, and even sent photos which gave me peace of mind! I came home to very happy cats! I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Abi!!
Thanks again for taking care of Rosie!
Abi was wonderful!! So respectful of our home and our dog was well loved while we were away!

Safety, trust & environment
It is very important to establish trust with any animal I am walking or watching. I recommend spending at least 15min on a walk or in your home to get to know the way they move around the space or the neighborhood with new people. I am prepared to follow any training instructions you have set in place for your dog so they can continue the good habits while you’re away. Keeping things consistent and calm is important to me!
Information Abi S. would like to know about your pet
To assure we are on the same page, I would like to meet before the first walk or boarding day. Once you have booked we can schedule a meeting. Some things I am not comfortable with are: possessive or resource guarding behaviors, aggressive barking, unhealthy feeding routines, and non-membership dog parks.
A typical day
We love going for walks at the dogs pace while including some reinforcement training as we go. Activities for brain stimulation are a huge hit! Our dogs have enjoyed finding kibbles or treats in puzzles and towel wraps. We avoid “distracting” dogs with lick mats or chewing activities since they do not offer stimulation the same way a walk or puzzle would.

Availability
Looking to share my extra time with some pups during a transitional season in life! Caring for pets can take up most of my week if needed. My availability to stay overnight is limited to 1-2 nights at the moment due to my living situation.
