Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Abi Guthrie, and I am able to do drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I currently live in Germantown and work at Brook-falls veterinary hospital & pet resort. Working for the pet resort and doggy daycare has provided me with a lot of experience and skills that I feel make me an excellent sitter for your pets! Some of my skills include professional training with administering oral/injection medications to multiple species (birds, cats, dogs, reptiles), canine behavior, and caring for dogs of all life stages from puppies to seniors. Please know that when I am taking care of your pets, I treat them with the same love and compassion that I would my own animals. I guarantee they will always be at home with me! :-)

Abi was great! We really appreciate that she was able to stay with our Brynnly so she had someone to cuddle with! Abi made sure to check in and sent pictures of Brynnly being cozy. ? Our cat Lava even liked her! Will definitely ask her to visit again.
Abi did a great job with our fur babies Bodhi (dog) & Luna (cat)! She proved herself to be responsible & reliable, so my husband and I felt at ease while we were away. Abi sent us photos of Bodhi & Luna as agreed in advance, and she communicated by text each day to give us updates as to how our little sweethearts were doing. We appreciate Abi very much and would definitely hire her again! 5-star recommendation :)

When I am taking care of a pet in a clients home, they can trust that i’m going to go above and beyond to make sure their animal is tended to. I try to create a fun environment for the animals I take care of and make sure they’re mentally stimulated. This could mean going to the park, being taken on walks, or doing some brain games i’ve learned while at the pet resort. I obviously also make sure they are taken out to go potty and being fed on a regular schedule!

Because i’m working full time and don’t have a typical 9-5, my schedule shifts around a lot. However, i’m more than willing to work out drop in/walking/house sitting times that fit for both of us!
