I am not allowed to have a pet in my flat permanently but I do sometimes look after my parent's dog on a temporary basis, and would love to do this on a daily/overnight basis with other dogs. I live with my boyfriend and we both adore dogs, so would love to have some company in the form of a furry friend (we're both missing our parents' pups). I can also walk dogs and look after them in your own home. I will walk each dog for at least 30 minutes and can send you pictures of us out and about etc if you'd like! I understand it takes a lot to trust someone with your pet so please know that I would always take extreme care and caution with any dog I look after, and treat them with the same love and compassion as I would my own dog. The home visits would be for at least an hour, I am also happy to spend longer periods of time with them - my parent's dog back home doesn't like being left alone and I completely get it! I recently moved to Forest Gate right by Wanstead Flats (a perfect place to walk dogs) and I am happy to come to anyone within a 20 minute radius by foot if walking a dog or visiting for a short period of time (I don't have a car/bike at the moment but am looking to get a bike soon). Otherwise I am happy to come anywhere I can get to within 30 minutes on the tube if its for a longer period i.e. half a day or more (including overnights). I'm originally from High Wycombe but have been living in London for the last few years. I also lived in Toronto for a bit where I did a lot of dog walking (often in freezing -10 degrees, so it'll be nice to walk dogs in normal British weather). I love living in London but one big thing is missing - my dog Bonnie! She is the white dog featured in the photos and I raised her from when she was a puppy. She has always lived with my parents so is absolutely fine without me and well looked after but I miss her greatly. I have had dogs in my life ever since I was born and not having them around is hard. I am also a volunteer dog walker for a charity that helps to connect elderly people/people who are unable to walk their dogs because of disability or a trip to hospital, with people willing to walk their dogs and look after their pets although I haven't been contacted by the charity recently as I've just moved and there is no one nearby that currently needs help. I find dogs are a great a way to get out the house and exercise (something I definitely haven't done enough of in the past few months). I write a travel blog, work freelance in television and social media (currently from home). I love comedy, hiking and going to the gym/any kind of exercise (followed by pastries with cups of tea).
