We're Abhishek and Foram, an adventurous and pet-loving couple residing in this vibrant city. Our journey began with a picturesque wedding on Goa's sun-kissed beaches in 2021. While Foram spent 6 wonderful years in Dubai, Abhishek followed her from India for them to embark on this thrilling expat life together. By day, Foram channels her creativity as a warm-hearted Creative Director at a global ad agency. Meanwhile, Abhishek works remotely - building his fund to invest in companies in India, while running his startup - SHEROES aimed at empowering women. Our love for aesthetics extends to our home – a cozy, fully-equipped apartment that radiates that magical "homey" vibe everyone adores. We're animal and pet lovers - and are thrilled to open our doors to furry companions of other Hamburg residents. Our pet-friendly abode is a haven for pets who need a temporary home while their humans explore the world, travel for work - or are otherwise caught up. So, why did we become pet sitters? The answer is simple: we've both had pets in our lives, love animals deeply and love to continue to have the joy and love pets bring in our lives. We share a deep empathy for animals - Abhishek had run a non-profit focused on animal welfare in India for several years as well. We understand the importance of leaving your beloved pet in a safe, caring environment. While we're yet to have pets of our own in Hamburg, our experiences with friends' pets have been heartwarming. Your fur baby will be showered with attention, care, and a cozy space to curl up in. Whether your pet is vaccinated or a special-sized dog, our home is open to all. Die Beiden machen wirklich einen tollen Job und ich kann sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Von Anfang an war die Kommunikation einfach und während der Betreuung wurden wir mit Videos und Bildern versorgt. Unser Hund wirkte auf jeden Fall gut gelaunt als er wieder bei uns war und ich denke die Zeit hat ihm gefallen.
Ich habe mich sehr schwer getan meine Hündin Mäggi fremden Menschen anzuvertrauen. Sie ist sehr schüchtern und braucht meist lange um mit unbekannten Leuten warm zu werden. Ich habe Mäggi erst 7 Monate vorher aus dem Tierheim geholt, wo sie abgegeben wurde. Meine Angst war, dass es sie traumatisierten könnte wenn ich sie nun auch weggeben. Davon kann aber keine Rede sein. Abhishek und Foram sind wahre Hundeflüsterer. Schon bei einem kurzen Treffen vor meiner Reise konnte ich sehen, dass Mäggi den Beiden sofort vertraute. Besonders zu Foram hatte sie spontan eine Beziehung - typisch Mäggi, sie hat es mehr mit Frauen. Die Videos, Fotos und Kommentare die ich fast täglich bekommen habe, zeigten mir wie wohl und geliebt sie sich fühlt. Das war so beruhigend für mich. Mäggi hat von der Liebe und der Erfahrung der Beiden sehr profitiert. Sie haben sich richtig auf sie eingelassen und gesehen, was sie braucht. Ich werde Mäggi bei Bedarf jederzeit wieder Abhishek und Foram anvertrauen.
I had my dog in their care today and had a good feeling right from the start. The two of them were very sensitive and occasionally sent me pictures and Videos so i always could be sure that my dog had a good time at their place. I would highly recommend their service :-)

We are in an apartment with closed off doors. The balcony has a high railing, with bars close together. We do not currently have any pets of our own, or any children in the house.

- What kind of food, and frequency of meals + would you be providing the food in advance - Confirmation that the pet has health insurance - Confirmation if the dog has been socialised and is fine to meet other dogs off leash
A typical day
We spend time with the furballs we care for outdoors by doing the following: - Take long walks to Volkspark - which is a large foresty park area, and has places for the dogs to run off-leash and enjoy themselves as well. - Walk around new paths in and around our neighbourhood - For dogs that need high degrees of exercise - we often take them running while we cycle, or jog in the parks - Weather permitting, the dogs may join us for a picnic at Hayns park / Stadtpark (I often go to SUP) Indoors, in addition to the regular TV watching, listening to music while being petted and cozied up - we use toys that you may provide that the dog is used to and likes, to play with them.

Availability
Foram works from office only 2-3 days a week, and is home the remainder of the days. Abhishek works from home during the whole week as a remote worker - and goes out to play squash / swim a few days a week. Given our routines, we can nearly always ensure someone is home with the pet.
