From birth I have been in a home with at least one dog. For a long period of time, we had 3 at a time. My family’s first dog was a beautiful black lab. I adored her. We adopted our second dog from a shelter when I was around 13. She was an Australian Shepherd mix who was shy around strangers, but loved her family. Our third dog was adopted about 5 years ago from a woman who was put in hospice. He was an old, overweight Pomeranian who we helped slim down and live the rest of his life with love and attention. Our current dog, Bruno, is a sweet springer spaniel we took in after he had gone through several owners. He wasn’t treated well, and we wanted to give him a forever home where he could play his heart out with no worries. He has been such a blessing to our family and never fails to make us laugh or smile. Over the years, I have learned to take care of any dog no matter the temperament, size, or age. I am patient and willing to work with the dog to ensure complete satisfaction from both the dog and the owner. I am a quick learner, and I am able to follow direction well.
