I'm an experienced Humane Society of Parkersburg volunteer, for both dogs and cats. I handle the more scared, hard to handle dogs and am one of the cat leaders for the HSOP cat crew. I volunteer my time to walk dogs, cuddle cats, and clean kennels. I am also a HSOP foster mom to both dogs and cats. So far, I have fostered senior dogs (one with congestive heart failure that requires daily medication), a puppy, and several kittens. I have one puppy and six cats of my own. One of my cats is special needs. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, or wobbly cat syndrome. I'm a pro at getting animals to take their medicine. I love to play with the high energy dogs and spend time with the laid back seniors. I plan on going back to school to become a vet tech soon!
