In middle and high school, my family and I were members of Rover and we developed a small group of satisified repeat clients. I have been around animals my whole life. My uncle had two dogs that I grew up with. Watching them while my uncle and aunt were out of town taught me valuable skills and experiences like walking a dog, feeding, bathing, playing, and training. My aunt is a vet and I have learned a lot from her. In high school, my family got our dog, and having her in the house with us has been a joy; she makes us laugh every day. The responsibility of having a dog made me more reliable both when it comes to pet care and overall in life. Also, I was a part of a club at my former university where we volunteer to train service dogs for people in need, and so a lot of those skills and practices translate into how well I can handle a dog.
