Hey there! I'm Abby. I’ve cared for animals nearly my entire life and genuinely love the extra company (I also have two friendly rescue cats at the moment!). I work from home, so they’ll get plenty of love and attention. I'm happy to regularly keep in touch with you while your little guy/gal is here (whether it be every day or every hour). Abby made sure our "iggy" Sophia was well cared for and was very flexible with pick and drop off. Abby kept us updated as to how Sophia was doing, and made sure Sophia was comfortable and loved. It was great to hear that Sophia did really well despite being away from her usual family and sitter. Abby was able to make sure Sophia ate since our dog can sometimes forget to eat while in a new environment. I believe Abby would be able to take care of any dog and I would be happy to have my dog visit her new human and doggy friends again.

If staying overnight, pets are allowed anywhere in the apartment. I also have a private/enclosed backyard for the any pooch visitors! I'm also happy to follow whatever protocol you have, of course, like if your dog prefers a crate.

I strongly prefer to watch animals with a history living with another cat — I cannot take a dog who is reactive toward cats (but happy to do a little meet and greet if it's untested territory).
A typical day
It really depends on the animal. I'm happy to take dogs out for a walk by the water/pier and/or snuggle with home depending on their energy levels.

Availability
I typically have a flexible schedule, so I can work around any special needs, etc. They'll have plenty of time during the day for snuggles and attention, and I will take the time to socialize with my cats (I have a lot of experience with this, including with dogs and with foster cats).
