I am a senior at Bucknell majoring in Animal Behavior. There's really nothing I love more in the world than animals! Is your dog a social butterfly who loves human companionship or a shy guy who needs a slow introduction and time to warm up? Either way I can meet your dogs needs! I have experience giving medication, caring for geriatric dogs, caring for special needs dogs, and working with dogs who are anxious. Do you have a pet besides a dog that needs care? I am comfortable caring for animals of all types, including cats, rodents, reptiles, and invertebrates! Animal experience includes: -Intern at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center -Volunteer at Misson Wolf, wolf sanctuary in CO -Intern at the Philadelphia Zoo -Camp counselor at a horseback riding/farm camp -Animal care intern at a nature center -Current intern at Clyde Peeling's Reptiland -Training squirrel monkeys for research at Bucknell University -Life long pet caretaker and lover! Whether you are need of a pet sitter for daily walks, or because you are going away on vacation, I will care for them as if they are my own!

Abby dog sat for our two pit mixes for a weekend while we were out of town. They are not an easy pair, but Abby was professional and managed them very well. She sent us regular updates (because we asked), and everything and everyone was in great shape when we got home. She also walked both of our beasts, which is no easy feat! We would definitely recommend her to other doggie parents!
We have hired Abby many times over the years for dog-sitting and she is absolutely wonderful in every way...responsible, mature, caring, and extremely interested in our dog's well-being. She wants to know details about your pet so that his/her routines won't be disrupted and problems will be mitigated. You can see how much Abby loves animals and understands them by the way she engages with them. And she really knows a lot about animal behavior; she's by far the best pet sitter we've ever used. My dog loves her! Plus, when she stays in your home, you can feel comfortable knowing she's trustworthy, responsible and considerate.
Abby has been great with our dog Beau! She is very communicative, has a flexible schedule and always lets me know about their visit ! I'm so glad this worked out! Her photos of them playing are always fun to see.
As a first time user of Rover, I was unsure of the level of availability in our area and the amount of time necessary for bookimg. Luckily, I happened to meet Abby, who was quick to respond. Once we had met, I knew our dog was in good hands. Her academic background and prior experience caring for dogs instilled confidence that she would be the perfect fit to help us out. During our dog's first schedule walk, she sent multiple pictures which showed our dog's smiling face! We will definitely continue booking her in the future!
