Pet care experience
I have owned and have taken care of every type of animal under the sun since I was young! I have had dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians..you name it-I’ve probably had it. I have administered medications orally and by shots. I have plenty of knowledge on how to care and love our furry friends! I moved to Truckee two years ago from Minnesota and then to Rohnert Park, and now to San Diego and had to leave all my family pets behind. I miss being around animals so much so I would absolutely love to take care of yours!

Peggy M. I highly recommend Abby as a dog sitter. I have a large rescue dog with severe separation anxiety and have booked Abby twice for dog sitting so that I can leave the house. Abby arrived promptly on time, connected quickly with my dog, took her for walks and kept her calm while I was gone. Abby sent me text updates and I was able to enjoy my time without worries. I have already booked Abby to dog sit for my next outing.
First time leaving our boy and we felt very comfortable with the start of meeting Abby. She was very kind, always on time, took excellent care of our boy and even went beyond at the end with leaving fresh washed towels he slept on. We would highly recommend Abby to watch any member of your furry baby family.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to have your animal at my house due to the fact that my landlord does not allow pets! I have no problem driving back and forth from my house to yours giving your pet as much love and attention as they want!

Nothing really ahead of time. When we meet, I am interested in knowing what kind of activities your dog enjoys/doesn’t enjoy, any routines your animal follows, anything I should watch out for (I.e always shut the bathroom door because the dog will get into the trash), how often they eat/how much, etc. The basics! :)
A typical day
I love taking pets on walks, playing with them, and really just spending all the time I can with them. I of course like to stick to your routines when it comes to activities your dog(s) like to do as much as possible. I think it’s important to keep the consistency going when it comes to caring for your animal-so I’ll probably ask you where you normally like to walk your dog, their favorite activities, favorite toys, etc! Because it always varies!

Availability
Currently, I work 8:00 am -5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I telework 2-3 times per week, and have to be in the office 2-3 days out of the week. If I know the dates you are requesting me to pet sit far enough in advance, I can request to telework the specific days so I can spend as much time as possible with your animals! Otherwise, I work near the Montgomery airport and could stop by your house to let the pets out during my hour lunch brea if your house is close enough!
