Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover since the age of 7, when I got my first cat. Throughout my life, I have house/pet sat for neighbors, family, as well as co-workers when they needed their furr babies taken care of while they went on vacation or out of town. I even volunteered in highschool at the local humane society. As a pet mom myself, I understand the anxiety there is with having to go out of town for days and needing care to make sure my furr baby is taken care of. Please let me ease your worries by allowing me to watch your furr child/ren while you are out of town. While I have had, and sat for various animals throughout my life; bunnies, ferrets, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, cats and dogs, I'm at my best with watching cats and dogs the most. I'm great with cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds. For example: Goldens, German Sheperd, Australian Shepherd,Sheperd-mixes, Pitbulls, Bernese Mountain dogs, Greyhounds, Whippets, Border Collies, Dachshunds, Corgis, Kuvasz, Chihuahuas, Russell Terriers, and Poodles.

Everything went great!
Abby did a phenomenal job looking after our cat! She definitely went over and above in her care of him and he was calm and happy when we returned home. We look forward to having her watch him again in the future.
Abby was an amazing pet sitter! I was really nervous to leave my cat with kidney disease. Abby showed up with a notepad to write everything down and went above and beyond the entire time I was gone. Her very thorough notes and pictures really put me at ease that my cat was well cared for and that he was doing just fine. I would definitely hire her again!
Abby is a VERY Nice Lady ! She is personable , easy to communicate with and “Fritz” my German Shepard wild 7 month old pup and my two kitties adored her !!!!!! At first I was worried to leave someone I didn’t know at my house alone - after meeting her , I had complete trust in her. Abby is a smart educated Lady and animals instantly bond to her . We will definitely hire her again to watch our animals and our house ! Only problem is - the animals are sad now that she left ! My German Shepard who is allowed to come inside ( but romps around and chases cats ) even stayed inside with her being calm cool and collected !!!! He never will do that for me !! We thank you Miss Abby and look forward to seeing you again soon !

Depending on the needs of my clients and what type of services they are interested in, I am more than comfortable dropping in multiple times a day to check on your furr child/ren or house sitting/staying over night. I know some animals experience separation anxiety and overnight stays with constant companionship tends to ease the anxiety they may experience. So whether you want me to check on your furr child 1-3 times a day for a set time, walk them, feed them, take pictures and send them to you etc or need me to be a constant companion to them in your home while you are gone, I can do that no problem! I'm very good at communication and very fast to reply. When I'm taking care of your pet if you want constant updates or just want to enjoy your time away I'm comfortable communicating and updating you to your needs, which we can discuss during a meet and greet before we officially book my services. Some of those services include the following: House-sitting (in your home) - Getting Mail -Watering plants -Feeding pets Drop in visits (30mins min.) - Brushing/ grooming pets (If your pet enjoys brushes this is also something I love to do for them when watching them!) -Watch them and play with them outside/play in yard -Go for walks -Potty breaks -Help take pick up/drop off: to groomers or vet appointments -Basic clean up such as: poop, pee, throw up or other messes made by your pet (I have a Bissell Green Pet cleaning machine). -Personally bathing you pet/s is also available at an additional fee. Please let me know if your furr child/ren have any specific allergies or special needs. Do they have a specific night time routine or special thing that you do for them every night like a night time treat, heating pad, or fluffing their bed? Please also let me know if there is anything else I should know about. For example when going for walks: do they growl at other dogs, become aggressive, pull on their leash, or do not like a specific type of person? (example men with baseball hats etc). Knowing this information will help me to make sure they stay safe and ease any anxiety they may experience while out for a walk with me. I will do my absolute best and treat your furr child/ren as if they were my own!
A typical day
Depending on their needs and if your furr child has a schedule, I will do my best to keep it as close to their normal routine as possible! I usually will arrive and give your furr child all the pets and attention! Then if you have a specific area where you left me a note or list of what you want me to do, that is where I head to next. I will check the house to make sure there are no accidents (puke, pee, poop etc.) If there are, I will immediately clean them up. Then, I will check their food and water and make sure they have new clean water available. Then, I will let them play outside or take them on a walk. When returning back from our walk, I will make sure that they are comfortable and will shower them with love and affection. If they enjoy pets and brushes, I can assure you they will be in absolute heaven with me watching them! If I'm staying over, I will make sure they are comfortable, get plenty of walks, brushes, and snuggles if they enjoy those! As you can see from many of my pictures, the furr children I've taken care of are quite comfortable in my presence, love to snuggle up to me, and enjoy seeing and spending time with me!
