Pet care experience
Over my life I’ve had 6 amazing dogs. I was involved in training and caring for all of my dogs throughout their lives. I’ve trained 3 out of the 6 dogs I’ve had and I was intensely involved with the comfort care of my elderly dogs until they passed. I’m comfortable with walks, giving medications, bath time, specialized meal times, play time, age-related needs, and pretty much everything else in between. I’ve also taken care of snakes, geckos, freshwater aquariums, guinea pigs, cats, and birds. My house has always been full of animals so I feel very comfortable around all types. I am also a proud plant parent of indoor and outdoor plants and would be more than happy to care for yours if necessary.

Abby took care of our dog and cat over the weekend and she was so great! She was very responsive via text and gave us regular updates (pics included ?) on how our pets were doing. Would definitely recommend!
Abby has been around animals her entire life, mostly dogs,, but one of her roommates has two cats that she really loves.. She helped care for my dogs when they were alive. She was surrounded with dogs growing up. Always two or three family pets. Her high school graduation gift request wasn’t a trip or money or shopping. She wanted and received a dog. I don’t think you will find a person more dedicated to caring for your Rover animals.
I have lived in the same neighborhood as Abby for several years now and each time we would vacation we would trust Abby to care for our two dogs. She gets along with dogs very well and every dog seems to love her. She always ensured to take them on their 2 daily walks and fed them on time as well. She sent us photos of our pups daily which helped us feel that they were in good hands. Abby is very trustworthy when it comes to caring for others pets!

I live in a family and pet friendly neighborhood that is walking distance from multiple parks, which is perfect for walks and playtime. I also have a large backyard and two story house for your pet to enjoy. I’m a very active person and can entertain your dogs all day long if needed. I live with 2 other girls and one of them has 2 cats right now so my house is great for dogs that are comfortable around cats. If not, I can separate them from each other and we can spend most of the time outdoors. I have a four door car which is suitable for transportation and I can install safety measures, such as dog seatbelts or dog beds if you’d prefer. I’m comfortable setting up and using crates too. Regarding caring for pets at your home, I’m comfortable using home security systems and will happily abide by any house rules you may have. Overall, I love to be around and care for animals- there’s no other way I’d want to spend my summer than taking care of yours!

We can also just explore the neighborhood around my house which is family and dog friendly. We can also just stay in and relax in house if that’s more of your pets speed. I’m willing to cater to the needs of your pet!

I’m currently enjoying my summer break in between my college semesters! I have an open schedule and this is the only job I am entertaining. Besides the occasional vacation, I am pretty much free to do pet care any day of the week, all summer long!
