Just Can’t Get Enough Critters!

Pet care experience

I have experienced being pre-vet and growing up on a farm. I love my animals dearly and believe it or not, with 7 chickens, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 1 horse, 1 fish, and 3 goats… I’m still looking to love on more! I can keep your pet happy and comfy at their own house and make sure they have all they need while you're away - whether that’s for the day or the week. Walls will be included with house sitting and waking purchased, just let me know their schedule and if you have any walking supplies (harness, leash type, booties, etc). The same goes for dietary needs, medications, or anything else you want me to know. I definitely love all shapes and sizes no don't be shy about requests or having a big boy (or girl) that needs some love while you're gone! I understand some pets might me shy, scared, or apprehensive about a new person. I can give the animal plenty of patience to adjust to me and am willing to swing by for a précis or so you know how me and your pet get along! I also am able to “farm sit”. I know it’s hard to find a reliable and trustworthy person for your farm critters, so I want to make myself available. Just message to discuss fees!

Abby was wonderful! She was so great with our pups and gave us constant updates and communication. Will be hiring her again :)

Abby is fantastic with all animals (and humans alike) both her own and others! She truly takes care of every person and animal she interacts with and is extremely thoughtful and responsible.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety will be the basic priority. Safety of the pet being comfortable with me and safety in and out of the house. I can ensure your puppy isn’t teething on the electrical cord, or just make sure your dog is supervised while in your fenced yard. As I mentioned before, the bare minimum isn’t enough for pets. You can trust that your animals will be treated as my own while I care for them.

Information Abby M. would like to know about your pet

Before accepting, I’d like to know: -any behaviors that I may need to mitigate. No worries, they won’t scare me away, just give me a better picture of how to care for the animal -any tricks or goals for the pet -feeding, medication, and treat regimens

A typical day

Walking will consist of terrain and speed that ensures your dog is good and tired until you get home, or their next walk! As I check in, toys and tricks will be utilized to socialize and play, I want your pet to be excited to see me! I’d love to know your treat “rules” and dog’s tricks so we can practice and maybe learn a new one!

Availability

I provide basic care for all my animals twice a day, that’s my bare minimum. In my opinion, if you just do the bare minimum your animals probably aren’t that happy and bonded to you! So, working from home, I ensure to pop out to play, socialize, and work with the animals. Your pet will fall into this schedule of regular lovin’s on top of basic needs.
