Hi! My name is Abby, and I have been a sitter on Rover for around a year, to help pet owners receive high-quality and reliable care for their fur babies. Most recently, I worked for a year as the assistant manager for a doggy daycare facility where I was able to interact with dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes, behaviors, and breeds. I have owned animals my entire life, from multiple pet dogs, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and mice, and I have enjoyed every second of it. I have also volunteered through HAWS animal shelter working with their cats and dogs, providing them care and attention throughout their stay in the shelter, and I have been working with horses through multiple different organizations throughout my life. I have also been a pet sitter my whole life, working with pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I truly believe in the importance of respecting and loving all animals, and being able to form connections with pets and pet owners alike is so rewarding. I grew up learning how to interact with, train, groom, and care for all animals, and I have had such an affinity for being around animals, hoping to become a vet or animal trainer when I was younger. I am also able to provide house care if I am watching your pets in your home, including any cleaning or organizational tasks you have! I know how important it can be to find a sitter who is communicative, responsible, and a good fit with your pet, and I can’t wait to be that person for you! I have a very flexible schedule, access to my own transportation, and I am willing to answer any questions or provide references as a sitter.
