Hi there! My name is Abby and I am a newbie to DC living in Bloomingdale. I’m a Consultant working from home right now and would love to take care of your pets! I have had pets my whole life and have experience dog sitting for the last 13 years or so. I also love cats and would be more than happy to play with and watch your kitties if you need! I graduated from college in 2020 and am looking for some extra cash (classic broke post grad) and promise to do a great job! Abby is great! She not only took amazing care of my two cats while we were out of town, she was very communicative and incredibly flexible when we had to extend our stay. I felt really comfortable with Abby and confident that the kitties were in good hands. Will definitely book her again!

Abby did a great job of checking in on my cats and keeping me updated while I was out of town. My cats are normally pretty shy but seemed to take to Abby really well! I would definitely request Abby again in the future.

I am a very diligent caregiver as I understand how important pets are in ones family. I make their needs the priority! I love spending time with animals and learning about their personalities so a lot of our time will be spent playing and lounging :) as well as many treats and pets!

The most important doggy info I need is any special instructions. I have experience taking care of disabled, sick and antisocial dogs and cats. I also like to do a meet up beforehand just to make sure we are on the same page and let your pet smell/get used to me before the first time I show up!
A typical day
I live by Rock Creek Park so we could go on walks there! I also am a new resident to DC so I am always looking to explore new neighborhoods and I would love to take your pup along. Since I am working from home I have a pretty flexible schedule and can change up the walk routes. I also frequently walk my cousin's puppy so if they’ll want a puppy friend to go on a walk with I would love to take them along, including fun car rides.

Availability
I work from home so I am very easily able to fit their schedule in with mine. As long as I know in advance, I can schedule my meetings around when visiting pets or take my meetings while on walks with dogs!
