Pet care experience
i work full-time as a freelancer, which means i determine my own schedule and i often work from home. i live in a homey, community-oriented apartment with 6 others, including my partner. together we share a large fenced yard. many of us at this apartment have fostered dogs (large and small, but mostly large) in this space before, & the backyard has proven to be a great place for the pups to play. i live close to a dog park, and i have a car. i have been fostering and walking dogs for 3+ years. they simply bring me so much joy. i can guarantee your dog will receive the exercise, attention, play, vet care/grooming needs, and the love they deserve while staying with me. happy to discuss more if you have any questions!

Abby is a caring, responsible, and all-around wonderful human being. I know that the dogs Abby previously cared for were happy and very well nurtured. I'm sure she'll give any and all dogs the attention and love they deserve. If I had a dog, Abby's the one I'd want caring for it!
Abby is very trustworthy, responsible, and considerate individual. I've felt very comfortable having her take care of a little puppy, and she has also house-sit to take care of my plants and receive my packages. She loves and is very comfortable around dogs, and I have no doubt that your family member would be very safe, comfortable, and happy spending time with her.
Abby is a caring, responsible, and all-around wonderful human being. I've spent time with Abby while she was dogsitting and witnessed the love and care she provides for dogs, and peace of mind for their parents/owners. I've also been on several dog walks with her and her love for dogs is obvious. I'm sure she'll give any and all dogs the attention and love they deserve. If I had a dog, Abby's the one I'd want caring for it!

Information Abby M. would like to know about your pet
I have most experience with larger dogs (and they tug at my heartstrings more!) - my partner and I recently fostered a rescued husky/german shepherd mix for 3 months and trained her. She had just come from surviving in the forest after being abandoned and needed a lot of love and training (and exercise!). I would love to care for your big dog, but am open to other pups as well. Things I would like to know: 1) Does your dog have any health issues or distinct habits? Just let me know beforehand so I know it's a recurring thing and don't get too concerned. 2) Does your dog require medication? 3) How much do you feed your pup and when? How much exercise is your dog used to? 4) What habits do you encourage / discourage? Is your dog allowed on furniture in your home (it's totally okay if they are, but just so I know)? 5) If your dog has a health issue and needs to be taken to the vet while you are away, obviously I am happy to do that. I would like to talk about what reimbursement would hypothetically look like up front, just so we're clear.
A typical day
-morning runs in my neighborhood -trips to the local dog park -backyard play (i have tug toys, balls etc) -i have a car, and, if you and your dog is comfortable with it, local hikes are also a possibility
