Pet care experience
Hi! Our names are Abby and Liam, and we have been petsitting for more than a decade. We joined Rover to gain new customers in 2017, and love getting the chance to hang out with new animals. We are both pet owners and pet professionals. We are comfortable with reactive and anxious pets who do not have a bite history. We also are trained for oral medication (both pill and liquid) as well as inhaled medication for both dogs and cats. We have business insurance and are happy to provide proof of coverage, if that's something you're interested in. We know pet sitters can be expensive! Please let us know if you are constrained by budget or need a sliding scale. We offer walks, drop-in visits, and overnight pet-sitting. If your dog is coming to our house, they MUST be friendly to our dog (30 lb beagle mix) and two cats. Otherwise, we are happy to do drop-ins at your house.

Abby did an excellent job taking care of my two kitties over a holiday week. She was attentive to recording the beginning and end of her visits, as well as sending plenty of photos, which gave me great peace of mind. She took time to play with the cats during each visit, as well. My cats were in great hands with Abby, and I’ll be sure to use her services again in the future!
Abby was fantastic with our little cat! We got clear updates, great pictures, and we could tell that Sesame was safe and happy. Abby was happy to help out with other little thing around the house too, like watering plants. Thank you so much!

This was our first time using a Rover.com sitter and Abby did such a great job with our two dogs! She sent updates with each visit and spent time interacting with both dogs while being sure that they had adequate time outside. Abby sent some great photos of our pups while we were away and we would definitely contact her again when we have a need for dog care.

[Dogs only] How often do you go for walks? Is there a fenced area in the backyard that the dog can play in? 4. Is your pet up to date in all vaccinations? Flea prevention? 5. Does the pet require any medication? Does the pet have any allergies or other health issues? 6. Does the pet have a history of running away? Biting? Chewing household items? Separation anxiety? 7. Do you prefer to receive photos during my stay? 8. Are there any housekeeping tasks you’d like me to do during my stay? Garbage? Mail? Water the plants? 9. Please provide 2 emergency contacts

Availability
Abby joined Rover in 2017 to get more pet sitting clients, and it was a primary form of work until the end of graduate school in 2022. Since then, she has started a full time job so has slightly more limited availability - which is where Liam comes in! Liam works from home and has picked up some of the weekday petsitting. Between the two of us, you have guaranteed coverage and flexibility.
