Pet care experience
I am certified in canine rehabilitation, which has allowed me to work with dogs of all abilities, sizes, and temperaments. I am very comfortable handling differently-abled dogs, including any physical, neurological, or emotional issues. I am also trained in Fear Free handling of dogs for safe and comfortable interactions. I love dogs and have spent the majority of my life taking care of dogs at home and at work. I currently have two dogs; Moose the St. Bernard/Great Dane mix, and Bogey the hound mix. I've previously been owned by three other Great Danes, an English Bulldog, and two Shetland Sheepdogs. I truly love animals, and dogs are my passion.

Our dogs are treated the same as our children. They live in our home, hog the couches, and eat more expensive food than we do! We love to play and exercise our dogs, as well as snuggle. I have always treated my patients and animals as they were my own. Empathy and kindness are essential and I use patience and understanding with each individual animal.

I would like to know if the dog has shown any form of biting or aggression in the past. I also need to know if there are any aggressive tendencies or triggers to avoid such as with food, tender spots, etc. I also want to know what the dog likes and enjoys doing. What calms and makes the dog happy? Any other pertinent medical information or behavior would also be helpful.
A typical day
I love to walk, run, and play with dogs, especially if they are high energy. I enjoy fun activities playing with toys and challenging dogs to various games if they're up to it. Fetch, tug of war, and interactive games are fun for the dogs and I both!

Availability
I am not employed elsewhere, so my schedule is flexible. I have a son who is school-aged, so my time is open during the day. I am available some evenings when we're not at baseball :)
