Pet care experience
I love being around dogs and cats of all types, but unfortunately I can't commit to one myself at the moment. Dogsitting and catsitting is the perfect way for me to get my fix and help out my neighbors in the process! I've cared for a huge variety of dogs and cats over the course of my life - fish, reptiles, birds, and rodents too! :) In order to ensure I am giving animals great care I only accept 1 booking at a time, not 1 booking of each type, 1 booking! If I am boarding your animal, I'm not running out for drop-in visits or walks at other homes - your animal is getting my full attention!!! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, but I do go into the office Tuesdays-Thursdays (downtown Seattle) so if you are looking for boarding that spills into those middle weekdays please work with me on accomodating my work schedule :)

Abby watched Chloe for me during the day while I moved out of my apartment. Chloe and I were up most of the night packing, so she was not her best self during her stay and she had an accident. Abby was so kind about it which made things less stressful for me! She is super reliable and kind. Highly recommend!
Abby stayed at our house to care for Lulu. She gave helpful reports and let the house in great shape. Lulu is happy and well cared for and we had peace of mind on our trip! Thank you, Abby!

I recently moved into a charming townhouse in Haller Lake, with a fully fenced yard!!! I love long walks around my neighborhood and can let them run around at Ingraham high - if they love big open spaces! I have cared for many dogs that require oral medication, and am comfortable providing that service. I have also cared for dogs with daily asthma inhalers.

Transparently, I have not watched a lot of dogs that have complex medical issues, such as seizure disorders or dental issues. I am not opposed to learning more, but do feel it's important to be honest about my lack of experience in this regard.
A typical day
As a tennis player, there are always old balls lying around my place. Belly scratches also abound! The loop around Haller Lake is a personal favorite of mine, as are the residential streets in the neighborhood.

Availability
As of Dec 2023 I now work in a hybrid workplace! Unfortunately this means a little less time available to watch pups but it is a very flexible place! For example, I typically go to the office Tuesday-Thursday, but I could stay home on a Thursday if you wanted to book me for a 4 day weekend!
