Pet care experience
I have taken care of our family dogs since we got our first dog when I was 10 years old. I also have great experience with cat care as I have always had a pet cat since a very young age. I also have worked with animal shelters and am used to working with all kinds of temperaments, personalities and backgrounds. I have experience administering medications and doing basic training. I promise your pet will be well taken care of and maybe even spoiled a bit with my care! I work a 9 to 5 job during the week, but my evenings are generally free and weekends are hit or miss; however, I am flexible. I am unable to provide pet boarding currently due to my housing situation. This may change in the future as I have offered pet boarding in the past. I am willing to travel approximately a 20 mile radius; however, I am willing to travel further for a slight increase in service fee. I also provide house sitting and can care for your furbaby in their own home.
Reviews
Probably the most responsible and rational person I know. Would be a loving and knowledgeable dog caregiver. If anything, I doubt that anyone could love a dog (or for that matter any other animal) as much as Abby. She understands animals and puts in the time to making them happy and giving them comfortable lives. She grew up on a farm with dogs, sheep, many horses, cats, goats, and pretty much any other animal you can think of so she is more than capable of taking care of a dog.

There are only a few things I would like to know about a dog before sitting them. How are they with people, children, other dogs, and cats? Are they spayed/neutered? Are they housetrained? Does your dog have any habits/routines that I need to know about? Any special needs/medications? What breed is your dog? (I am fine with any and all breeds I just like to know because some breeds are higher in energy/have different temperaments than others.) And anything else you feel is important I know about your dog.
A typical day
Depending on your location would determine where I could take your dog for a walk. Other fun activities include: playtime (i.e. fetch and/or play with other toys), treats (pet parent approved and informed of any allergies), and bathtime (not always fun for the dog but a nice add-on for the pet parent). I am also willing to provide other activities by request.
