Pet care experience
Hello fellow pet owners, my name is Abby! I recently moved to Carbondale when I got a job as a registered nurse with Valley View & Grand River. I am a huge pet lover and love to adventure outdoors. Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals and currently have one dog, Maple. She is a big lover and will play with everyone. I have experience caring for not only my own animals, but other families pets as well. I have several families whom I consistently house and pet sit for, which has allowed me to grow a trusting relationship with their fur babies. I can assure you that I will treat your animals like they are my own. I can't imagine not being surrounded by pets and would love to meet you and your pet family!

Currently, we do not have a fenced yard and our dog, Maple, is allowed off leash and free to roam with our supervision. If your dog does well off leash, that is great. If not, I am more than happy to walk your dog as you see fit.
Information Abby H. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful for me to know the size, energy level, and the breed of your pet. Any pet allergies or "food no-no's" is also appreciated. I know some dogs and cats are sensitive to certain people and situations (children, males, loud music etc.), which is something I would like to know ahead of time, thank you! I have no bias towards size or breed and love to spend time with all kinds of animals!
A typical day
There are several parks and hiking trails that I look forward to showing your pet! If your furry friend enjoys playing with other dogs, I know of several dog parks that your pet will love. Or, if your pet just needs a day at home, we can play a game of fetch in the “backyard” or snuggle on the couch.

Availability
I work full time- usually three days a week. I only accept requests on days that I am completely off, as I work 12 or more hours a day. I want to make sure I have plenty of time to spend with your pets.
