I am an experienced dog boarder, walker, and house sitter. I am a student, so I am not out of the house for more than a couple hours at a time. I love being outside and hiking, running, and walking so I am happy to give active dogs lots of exercise! I am a dog and animal lover so this is my dream job! I also have a fenced in area outside that is perfect for letting dogs out for quick potty breaks. I have a very flexible schedule so last minute trips aren’t an issue for me. Sherman is a 9 month old Wire haired vizsla puppy with an interesting personality so I was honestly worried about how he would get on. Abby was absolutely amazing AND he now has a friend to go to the dog park with. ??
Our dog is a quirky “Nervous Nellie” so we did meet 5 days before our weekend away (Blackberry’s first). Blackberry was hesitant because of new surroundings but was warming up before we left. When we dropped her off Friday evening she greeted Abby like an old friend and we felt comfortable leaving her. We got a video Saturday and photo Sunday and she seemed happy as can be. We picked her up Monday afternoon and she was perfectly fine. No “behavior” when we got home which tells us she had a great weekend away. Thank you Abby! We’ll be repeat clients!
Georgia had a great time with Abby. They bonded right away. Abby is definitely an animal lover. She returned my texts promptly. Georgia was so relaxed and content when I picked her up next day. Abby was such a great host to our Chihuahua mix, Binx. She made sure to ask all the right questions prior to Binx’s stay — even things I hadn’t thought of! Binx doesn’t do that well with other dogs, so kennels haven’t been an option for us when we go out of town. Knowing that Abby’s quiet home was an option for us was such a blessing! Abby also updated us regularly with pictures, which helped to set our minds at ease. It was comforting knowing that Binx was in such good hands! We’ll definitely be reaching out to Abby in the future!
