I have my own pup, Murphy, who I rescued at 8 weeks and is almost 3! I have experience fostering dogs ranging from 8 weeks to 6 years in age, in addition to over a year of experience volunteering for the humane association - where I have achieved yellow dog walking status (moderate dog handling of pulling, mouthiness, etc.) with dogs of all weight ranges. In these roles, and while caring for a dog with heartworms, I gained experience in medication administration (oral and topical), kennel and exercise restriction, identifying signs of fear/anxiety/stress, potty training, enrichment, and leash reactivity.
