In need of a walking buddy!
Pet care experience
I volunteer at a local animal shelter walking dogs of all different types and ages. Many of these dogs do not have much experience on a leash, so I have developed skills to be able to control and safely walk with the dogs. I also spend time socializing with the cats at the shelter who are not accustomed to human interaction. I have fostered and taken care of family and friends dogs while they've been away. They have trusted in me to feed, walk, and ensure the safety of their dogs.

I also live near campus so I can safely walk your dog away from any traffic or cars. I have a small, fenced in backyard that is all brick and concrete, but live right next to lots of grass patches and across the street from campus.

It is important for me to know how your dog will react to other dogs. When out on walks I want to keep your dog safe, so if they need to stay away from other dogs out and about I want to keep lots of space between us and other dogs.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks through campus. It is a safe place to walk and there are lots of open fields to run around in and play. I also have enough space in my backyard to run around and play!

Availability
I am currently a third year full time student at the University of Cincinnati. I do not have any summer classes and usually only work 3-4 days a week, no more than 7 hours. I also live with 3 other girls so someone is usually always home and all have experience in pet care.
