I work from home (one bedroom apt.), so I have the time and attention to make sure your pet feels loved and cared for. My former dog lived to be 19, so I know I took really great care of her - from giving her spring water and the best food possible, to taking her out for walks (she was walking four miles a day when she was 15)! I've taken care of several of my friends' dogs in my apt. or at their place and I have vet care very close by in case of an emergency. Dogs sense everything and have their own routines, so please know that I will make sure your dog feels at home, eats, plays, gets belly rubs and goes for walks. I'm happy to spoil them if you let me!

Abby truly went above and beyond! A winter storm extended my time away by 2 days, and she was so flexible and did not hesitate to take care of my cat for an extra weekend. She really put my mind at ease in the midst of travel stress, and I came home to a very happy, well cared for cat!

I'd want to know as much as possible from likes to dislikes to the daily routines. Does your dog like or give affection/kisses? Is he/she territorial or loves other dogs? Does he/she have any bad habits like grabbing trash (my trash can is secured)? Does your dog need a WeeWee pad if it's too cold or raining? Any or all info is always helpful and the breed doesn't matter.
A typical day
I live in between two parks, one of which has an enclosed dog park. However, if your dog prefers walks, that's even better! I'm a walker and can go for miles. I have several carriers as well, for running errands or a tired pet. I have a rail road style apt. so your dog has a place to run around or hang on the couch or bed. And I can send you pictures and videos, if you promise not to be jealous of how much fun we're having!
