Special Needs Experienced

Pet care experience

Dogs and cats are family to me, and my passion for working with animals has stemmed from the kind of love I've seen between animals and humans. I'm a life-long animal lover and have significant experience in handling special needs animals. Along with my Rover experience, I've cared for many family and friend's pets. I also spent time volunteering at an animal shelter where I cared for and walked shelter dogs, which sometimes included the craziest of fur kids. I lost my 10.5 year old 3-legged Chocolate Labrador, Bowzer, 3 years ago. He was allergic to everything and required several daily medications and limited movement. Additionally, I have experience giving injections and accommodating varying levels of exercise needs. We just adopted our new puppy, Scout! He is rambunctious and hilarious. He LOVES having playmates. I look forward to meeting your furry family member!

The dogs love Abby, even my terrier who doesn't like just anyone. She is friendly and kind. I appreciated the visit summary and the photos she took while with them. I trust Abby with my fur babies.

On multiple occasions we have had to have abby come over and let the dogs and make sure they have food and water. I have never had to worry that my dogs were not going to be taken care of.

Few people are as passionate and caring about animals as Abby. She has gone above and beyond in supporting her own dog who has extensive medical issues and would put that same dedication into caring for your pet.
